Call for Papers for CAREC Institute 6th Annual Research Conference
The CAREC Institute (CI), in collaboration with the Beijing National Accounting Institute (BNAI) and the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development (ISSCAD) at Peking University, is pleased to issue this Call for Papers for the 6th Annual Research Conference of the CAREC Institute. The conference, themed “Bridging Borders Governance: Digital Connectivity, Investment, and Regional Integration for Sustainable Development”, is scheduled to be held in late November 2026 in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China. We sincerely welcome scholars, researchers, practitioners, and experts from all related fields to submit original research articles, case studies, and review papers that align with the conference themes.

- Digitalization and Socio-Economic Inequality
- South-South Cooperation and Innovation Transfer
- Governance of Digital and Sustainable Transitions
Important Dates:
- Submission of Extended Abstract: 1 June 2026
- Notification of Abstract Acceptance: 1 July 2026
- Submission of First Draft: 1 September 2026
- Presentation at Research Conference: late November 2026
- Submission of Final Draft: 25 December 2026
Submissions:
Extended abstracts (1500 words or less) must be submitted to emmat@carecinstitute.org no later than 1 June 2026. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Organizing Committee, which comprises independent experts from CI, BNAI, and ISSCAD with extensive research experience and professional expertise in the relevant thematic areas. The selected high-quality manuscripts will be presented at the conference and published as conference proceedings or a book.
