Background Report on Post-Pandemic Framework for a Green, Sustainable and Inclusive Recovery

This report was conceived as a background document to help CAREC member countries grasp the latest data and trends, which can be useful in shaping national policy and redefining and reprioritizing regional approaches for economic recovery that is consistent with climate objectives, that is sustainable in the long term, and that mainstreams inclusiveness for a fair distribution of economic gains. This work draws primarily upon various research projects by the CAREC Institute over the last few years and attempts to build a consistent narrative of background policy research while calling on the CAREC community to focus on issues of green, sustainable, and inclusive development to the benefit of all CAREC members.
