China (Xinjiang)–Central Asia “Silk Road E-commerce” Government-Enterprise Forum to be Held in Urumqi

The CAREC Institute and the Commerce Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region will co-host the China (Xinjiang)–Central Asia “Silk Road E-Commerce” Government-Enterprise Forum on 26 June 2026 in Urumqi, Xinjiang, China. Held as a side event of the 9th China-Eurasia Expo, the forum leverages the shared geographic advantages of Xinjiang and Central Asia to advance policy coordination, market integration and industrial links, and deepen cross-border e-commerce cooperation along the Silk Road.

This event will bring together government officials, academic experts, business delegates and representatives from international financial institutions to discuss the development of regional cross-border e-commerce. It will consist of keynote speeches, market and policy presentations, as well as roundtable dialogues. The presentations will focus on market trends, industrial advantages, cooperation demands and the latest policies. During the roundtable session, participants will share insights on market expansion, cross-border logistics, regional branding and regulatory compliance, and explore practical cooperation solutions.
