CAREC Institute Scholars Deliver Speeches at the Academic Seminar on Central Asian Studies from the Perspective of Civilization Mutual Learning
From October 24 to 25, Director Charymuhammet Shallyyev and Senior Research Specialist Dr. Yixin Yao from CAREC Institute attended the Academic Seminar on Central Asian Studies from the Perspective of Civilization Mutual Learning, hosted by Beijing Foreign Studies University, in Karamay City, Xinjiang. With the theme of “Strengthening Cultural Exchange and Cooperation to Build a Community with a Shared Cultural Future along the Silk Road”, the academic seminar aims to provide intellectual support for the advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative and the development of a closer China-Central Asia community with a shared future.
As the keynote speaker at the opening ceremony, Director Charymuhammet Shallyyev delivered a speech titled “Turkmenistan: Sustainable, Stable, and Smart Growth”. Dr. Yixin Yao, as the first speaker at Session 2, presented on “Global Economic Governance and Central Asia Economic Cooperation”.
During the seminar, Director Charymuhammet Shallyyev met Professor Lei Sun, Dean of the Tianshan Research Institute at Beijing Foreign Studies University, to discuss future cooperation opportunities between the two institutes.
