Climate Change and Sustainable Water Management in Central Asia

Climate change has been well documented all over the world in a vast number of scientific investigations and global climate model simulations. Field observations in Central Asia indicate that the climate has been warming for several decades and the consequences of this trend have already been observed in the everyday life of the population. However, there is still a substantial lack of knowledge on the phenomena related to climate change and its impacts on the environment and human life.
