Advancing Transport Leadership Program – Cohort 2

The CAREC Institute, in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Shanghai National Accounting Institute (SNAI)/Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Institute (AFDI), will host the second cohort of the Advancing Transport Leadership Program in Shanghai, the People’s Republic of China, from 10–14 November 2025. This five-day workshop features case-based learning, field visits, and group exercises, focusing on sustainable, low-carbon, and resilient transport systems.
Learning Outcomes:
Participants will:
- Gain insights into the latest advancements in transport technology, financing models, and business strategies.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the future of transport, including low-carbon solutions, resilience, digitalization, and inclusive mobility at all levels.
- Strengthen sector and project leadership skills to facilitate effective policy dialogue and foster the development of transformational transport initiatives.
- Generate innovative ideas and solutions for sustainable connectivity and mobility.
Target Participants:
Selected government officials specializing in the transport sector from ADB member countries and experts from international development organizations, academia, and the private sector.
