CAREC Institute to Host Policy Dialogue on AI for Sustainable Development

The CAREC Institute will host an online policy dialogue titled “AI for Sustainable Development: Fostering Industry Growth and Inclusive Outcomes” on 24 September 2025, from 15:30 to 18:05 (Beijing Time, GMT+8).

This policy dialogue will bring together government officials, industry leaders, academics, and civil society representatives from CAREC countries to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming industries, enhancing economic resilience, and promoting social equity.

Key discussions will focus on AI’s role in driving sustainable development, fostering innovation in sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, and agriculture, and addressing challenges like workforce transformation and technological divides.

The policy dialogue will feature expert presentations and case studies shared by representatives from global and regional think tanks and industries. A live Q&A session will encourage interactive exchanges, with simultaneous interpretation provided in English and Russian.
