| Summary: | The project will contribute to a more efficient and safer Baku-Shamakhi road and higher-quality road services by (i) upgrading a 100-kilometer section of the existing two-lane M4 Baku-Shamakhi road into a four-lane motorway and related road safety activities; (ii) providing technical assistance, training, and institutional development to Azer Road Service JSC and the Ministry of Transport in motorway operations and maintenance; and (iii) financing consulting services, equipment, and technical assistance to support project implementation. |
