| Summary: | The technical assistance will produce a regional power sector master plan and prepare an analysis of the technical requirements for connecting Afghanistan with the Central Asian republics’ power system. This will increase energy security and regional electricity trade to support economic growth. A series of regional investment projects will be identified based on economic, financial, safeguard, and technical grounds to provide long-term solutions to balance electricity demand and supply in the region. |
