| Summary: | The technical assistance will prepare a project design and a feasibility study for an investment project to improve the reliability and the operation of the Central Asian power system, which will enhance intercountry power trading. The project will (i) rehabilitate existing and construct new transmission assets to strengthen Tajikistan's interconnection with Afghanistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Uzbekistan; (ii) install a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System; and (iii) improve the quality of electricity supply on regional and national levels. |
