Power Transmission and Distribution Project - Grant
Summary:The project aims to improve power supply in the region north of Hindu Kush mountain, the region from the central Hindu Kush to Kabul and eastward, and the southern region by rehabilitating and extending power transmission and distribution systems. The distribution components of the project are financed by grant. These include construction and rehabilitation of substations and distribution networks, and provision of electrification kits.
